The Bridge to Winter

This historical bridge in Shenandoah County, VA is known as the Meems Bottom Covered Bridge. It was constructed in 1892 by Franklin Hiser Wissler and spans 200 feet over the North Fork of the Shenandoah River, featuring a unique wooden Burr arch design. This image was captured in late fall early winter, and catches the glow of the last bit of sun for the day.
